Josh White, PT, DHSc, ATC, MTC
Josh holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, as well as Athletic Training Certification and Manual Therapy Certification. He has more than 20 years of experience working in orthopedics as a physical therapist treating patients for extremity and spinal dysfunctions. Special interests include treating complex spine and athletic-related injuries with an emphasis on manual therapy and trigger point needling techniques. Josh serves as an affiliate faculty member at Regis University and Baylor University, teaching in their Schools of Physical Therapy.
Josh and his wife Mary enjoy spending time with their four children who also enjoy sports and outdoor adventure. Josh stays active with CrossFit, mountain biking, hunting and telemark skiing.
Mary White, MPT, MTC, CPI
Mary has a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training Certification, Manual Therapy Certification and Pilates Instructor Certification. Her experience includes working in the outpatient physical therapy setting for over 20 years and teaching at the university level on the foot and ankle. Special interests are Pilates-based rehabilitation, foot and ankle bio-mechanics and customized orthotic fitting.
Mary and her husband have four children: Ellie, Hudson, Luci and Jacob, who all enjoy the active lifestyle Colorado offers. You’ll find Mary trail running, competing in triathlons, hiking and cross-country skiing.

Hannah Johnson, DPT, OCS, MDT
Hannah earned her clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2007 and went on to become a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2010. Hannah completed the certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute. She was a contributing author for a published case study and has written numerous articles about common orthopedic injuries.
Hannah is a native of Colorado, where she and her husband, Tucker, enjoy their friends and family, food and wine (or beer!), travel, design, art and architecture. They are outdoors as much as possible with their son Rhett and daughter Evelyn.
Tom Duffey, DPT, CRT.DN
Tom was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and relocated to Evergreen with his wife and son in early 2018. Tom's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (2012) and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2014) from Marquette University. Since graduating, Tom has earned a certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling and has completed the first two levels of spinal manipulation training through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). Tom feels these are great adjuncts to accelerate and improve his patients' outcomes and is always striving to expand and refine his skills to provide the highest quality of care.
Tom and his family spend most of their time outside biking, hiking and running. He looks forward to summer afternoons at the pool and getting his son Owen on a bike of his own.

Emily Connelly, PT, DPT
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Missouri Valley College and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. She completed a fellowship in orthopedic manual PT and has experience with pelvic floor diagnoses.
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Emily moved to Colorado in May after falling in love with the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, playing soccer and hiking with her dog George. She also attends concerts at Red Rocks as often as possible and likes to explore different local breweries.
Louise has a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and has spent much of her career in building design and development. In her role as Office Manager at Vertical Motion, she enjoys meeting new clients in the community and assisting them through their journey to recovery.
Louise was raised in Colorado and has been a resident of Evergreen for more than 13 years. She and her family—husband Mitch and daughter Megyn—are all avid mountain bikers who enjoy hitting the trails at every opportunity.
Ingrid is part of the front desk support trio and enjoys working with the community and the wonderful VM team! She is also a freelance editor, former healthcare writer, and author of a young adult novel, All Out of Pretty, which was named a Bank Street College Best YA Books of 2019. She holds degrees in English and Journalism.
When not working the front desk or writing her next novel, Ingrid enjoys running, hiking, and spending time in the Colorado sunshine. She has lived in Evergreen since 2011 with her husband, two sons, a large cat and a small dog.
A Colorado native, Grace is a Certified Nursing Assistant who has always been interested in the medical field. For the past few years, she has worked in office settings and become more focused on the administrative side of medicine. In her front desk role at Vertical Motion, she enjoys helping and meeting new patients.
Grace spends much of her free time with friends and family enjoying all that Colorado has to offer, such as exploring the outdoors, hiking, boating, camping, seeing the diverse wildlife and discovering the newest ‘famous’ Colorado Green Chili.
Grace recently welcomed her son Jack into the world!
